Meet Michael, one of our very talented Guitar/Bass/Drum instructors!
Michael is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and recording artist based in Denver, Colorado. With a strong background in blues and contemporary music, he brings a wide range of musical influences into both his performances and his teaching.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts with a Singer-Songwriter emphasis from the University of Colorado Denver. During his time at CU Denver he served as President of the Nashville Songwriters Association International student chapter, organizing events and collaborating with fellow musicians across the campus music community.
As a performer, Michael has played guitar and vocals in several bands including Moss Brain, Stone Fish, and Take 2, performing throughout Colorado and at events such as the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. In addition to performing, he has extensive experience with live sound, recording, and production, giving him a well-rounded perspective on modern musicianship.
Michael enjoys helping students explore different musical styles while building strong foundational skills in rhythm, technique, and creativity across guitar, bass, and drums. His goal is to help students grow into confident, versatile musicians while developing their own musical voice.
