Meet our newest drums and guitar instructor Joe Colomb!

Joe Colomb is a professional musician/producer living in Denver. His instruments are drums, guitar, piano, and bass. Joe plays drums for the progressive rock band Octopus Tree and plays guitar and sings for his folk rock band Alfred and the Teddinators. Growing up in Farmington NM as a teenager, Joe found himself playing for nearly every ensemble in his hometown from ages 15 to 19. From marching bands, honor bands, and symphonic orchestras, to theater pits and jazz trios, Joe played the drums for all of them.

A year after high school Joe moved to Nashville, TN to work in studios and at live gigs as a session player for 5 years. Moving back to Colorado in 2013, Joe continues to play for numerous projects and artists from all over the country. He also records and performs live with his original groups on a professional level.

Joe is currently attending Front Range Community College to obtain an associates of applied science in recording arts and plans to further his knowledge of sound engineering.

We’re excited for Joe to join our staff of talented teachers! To request a lesson with Joe, give our front desk a call at 303-439-7956.
