Meet Dylan, one of our very talented Voice/Piano instructors!
Dylan is a versatile musician and dedicated educator specializing in voice and piano instruction. With over a decade of experience, he is passionate about helping students of all levels develop their voice and build lasting musical skills. His musical background spans a wide range of styles, from classical vocal performance in opera to genres including punk, jazz, folk, and modern hardcore. He remains active in the music scene, primarily performing in rock and metal projects.
As a teacher, Dylan is known for his adaptable and engaging approach, tailoring lessons to each student’s individual goals and interests. He believes that enjoyment is a key part of meaningful musical growth and focuses on creating a positive, motivating learning environment. At the same time, he emphasizes strong fundamentals, integrating music theory and piano skills into his teaching to help students develop a deeper understanding of music.
In addition to teaching, Dylan has performed in a variety of settings including jazz shows, ensemble performances, and opera productions such as Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Aaron Copland’s The Tender Land. His diverse background allows him to connect with students across styles and experience levels while helping them grow into confident, expressive musicians.
