Vocal Instruction Broomfield
Private Voice Lessons
Private voice lessons are customized to fit each individual student. Students have fun while being challenged and creative in a comfortable and safe environment.
Find Your Voice at Globalsound
Voice lessons at Globalsound are based around the student’s current ability and future goals. Each lesson begins with breathing exercises to learn the lower costal muscle method. Breathing is one of the most important aspects of singing and it is also one of the most difficult, so breathing exercises will be ongoing throughout a voice student’s development.
Personal Development
Also ongoing are warm-ups. Students work on warming up not only their vocal chords but their facial muscles as well. Students learn to do warm-ups on their own at home as well. As the student progresses, the warm-ups become more challenging. Each student is allowed to choose their own song, with guidance. Songs should be suitable for their current ability, while still challenging. The song choices should always be something that the student will enjoy singing for several weeks, as they will work on it until both the student and the instructor feel that the song has been mastered. Whether the student prefers rock, pop, musical theater or another genre of music, we will find songs that work for them.
Inspiring Our Students with Showcase Performances
Included with our voice lessons are 3 showcase performances per year in our 2000 square foot performance room. These showcase events give parents the opportunity to see their child’s progress throughout the year. Friends and family are welcome to attend in person or remotely through our live stream.
