Our Teaching Philosophy
Globalsound Studio’s mission is to provide students with the highest caliber music education while making lessons FUN. All of our instructors hold degrees in music and have professional performing experience.
We believe in customizing music lessons to fit the student’s personal interest, preferred musical style, and learning needs. Our goal is to produce well-rounded musicians and confident performers who learn songs they love while developing their technicality and music theory knowledge.
Our teachers are highly skilled at creating a fun and effective lesson experience for music students of all ages and skill levels.
Inspiring Our Students with Showcase Performances
Included with our music lessons are 3 showcase performances per year in our 2000 square foot performance room. These showcase events give parents the opportunity to see their child’s progress throughout the year. Friends and family are welcome to attend in person or remotely through our live stream.
Private Lessons
Schedule and Tuition
We offer private lessons, virtual lessons or weekly or drop-in lessons Monday through Friday between 2:00 and 8:00 pm.
$35 – One time Registration fee for the 1st family member
$15 – for each additional family member
*All tuition is billed monthly and includes an average of 4–5 lessons per month depending on the calendar.

Globalsound Studio Music Academy is a registered facility partner with the Shane Thurston Foundation, which provides sponsorship assistance for K–12 students participating in art and music programs.

In-Person Lessons
Our large studio space offers us the ability to teach multiple instruments in the same room. Our voice/piano rooms are equipped with both pianos AND keyboards as well as microphones and amplification. This allows our students practice any applicable techniques that are in line with their goals. Our guitar/bass/drum rooms are equipped with 2 drum kits so the student and teacher each play their own. This is the preferred way of teaching drums for many reasons. Additionally, our teachers are all proficient accompanists on multiple instruments and will always incorporate that in to their lessons. This gives the students some of the benefits of ensemble playing like listening, adjusting and following, but in a one-on-one setting. Our teachers also accompany the students during live performances at Globalsound showcases.
Virtual Lessons
Make music from the safety and comfort of your own home with virtual lessons. Virtual lessons are easy to set up and can be done on laptops, tablets, and even smartphones. No special equipment or extra fees are required – all you need is yourself and your instrument. We even have technical support on hand during your lesson to address any problems you may encounter – a benefit NO other music school offers!
Tuition includes:
- 4 to 5 lessons per month flat fee. It's sometimes 4, sometimes 5 based on the calendar month
- 3 live showcase performances per year in our performance room
- Priority placement in rock band programs
- Family members receive $20 discount per month
- Your spot is held indefinitely each week with the same instructor and time
- Globalsound backpack and folder included
- Refer a friend to us and we will give you $20 in CASH!
