Congratulations to September’s GlobalStar Student, Spencer Hackett!
Spencer is a junior at Stargate High School and a longtime drummer at Globalsound Studio, where he has been taking lessons since he was 5 years old. Over the years, he has performed in numerous student showcases and participated in Globalsound’s Summer Rock Band Camps, including several alongside his older brother and friends.
In recent years, Spencer has developed a strong passion for jazz. He is a percussionist in Stargate’s Chamber Ensemble and is active with the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, participating in small group sessions and summer jazz programs. He has also begun attending open jam sessions around Denver and Boulder.
Spencer is an avid fan of live music and enjoys seeing a wide variety of artists in concert. When he’s not behind the drums, he enjoys working out, playing video games, cooking, and baking.
Congratulations Spencer!
