Congratulations to August’s GlobalStar Student, Matt Bach!
Matt is a 38-year-old musician who began studying at Globalsound Studio in January 2023. He started with drum lessons after years of wanting to learn the instrument, and thanks to a push from his fiancée, Vicky, finally made it a reality. Since then, Matt has also picked up guitar and has performed in multiple Globalsound showcases. He encourages anyone who’s ever wanted to play music to give it a try, it’s never too late.
Outside of Globalsound, Matt works as an IT consultant and lives in Arvada with Vicky and their four dogs. He enjoys taking their older Border Collie to herding lessons, working on his golf game in the summer, skiing in the winter, and singing karaoke to prepare for future performances. When he’s not busy with friends or family, you’ll probably find him at a concert, a Mexican restaurant, or the movie theater.
