This month’s star student shines on stage whenever he performs. John Stegner is both a talented musician and a performer to emulate in our band program and beyond.
John Stegner performing ‘Duck Tales’ theme for our TV Theme Challenge
John has studied guitar and voice at Globalsound Studio for four and half years. That’s a pretty short time considering all that he’s accomplished. John rocketed through our Rock Band Program to become frontman of Season Breakers, Globalsound’s longest-running Advanced Band. During his tenure with Season Breakers, John has recorded numerous songs, starred in music videos, and performed dozens of gigs on stages across the Front Range. Check out John’s vocal prowess below in Season Breaker’s latest music video ‘For the People’ below:
As a vocalist, John displays an impressive range and spot-on intonation. He is comfortable singing while playing complex guitar parts. John has also proven himself a versatile and talented frontman. He consistently displays emotive and energetic stage presence, along with a tangible desire to entertain his audience. Not many teenagers can make playing guitar, singing, AND dancing on stage look effortless.
Outside of his Season Breaker’s gigs, John stays busy writing songs and dabbling with various DAWs. John also busks across town, either solo or as a duo with Kanyon, Season Breaker’s drummer. You never know where you might see John performing next!
On top of all of this, John records podcasts and experiments with videography. He was the first student to submit a video for our TV Theme-Song Challenge – check out his rocking take on the ‘Duck Tales’ theme song above!
John will be attending CSU this fall and is busy preparing for our Graduation and Family Night gigs with Season Breakers. We have no doubt we’ll see more creativity and rocking performances from him in the future.
Congratulations to John for everything you’ve accomplished! Globalsound Studio is proud of all your hard work.
