Congratulations to February’s GlobalStar Student, Jack Heilman!
Jack is a 17-year-old drummer who has been studying at Globalsound Studio for over eight years. Over that time, he has performed in numerous student showcases and worked his way up from beginner bands to the Advanced Band Program, where he now drums for Doppler Effect. The band won Battle of the Bands last year, earning an opening performance at Art Night Out, and continues to perform regularly at public venues.
Jack is currently a junior who was accepted early to Front Range Community College and is beginning his college coursework while finishing high school. In school band, he plays percussion and drum set, earning awards for Leadership, Overall Performance, and Best Drum Performance.
Outside of music, Jack plans to pursue a career as a motorsport engineer. He enjoys riding dirt bikes, working on cars, and spending time outdoors. Whether he’s behind the drum kit or wrenching on a vehicle, Jack brings the same focus and drive to everything he does.
